I went to Zippy's Dillingham with two of my friends last night at the dine in restaurant. I can't believe the service over there. The waitress sat us down, gave us our menu. Not even a single waiter or waitress came to take our orders. So, we left... I understand it was busy last night but for a customer to wait 10 minutes or more for someone to take our orders is unacceptable. I'm so disappointed in that restaurant. I used to like going to that restaurant to dine in, but I don't think me & my friends will go back again. Also, there were no managers around! They should hire more people! This is the worst service ever! I think they should have a lot of people when its busy and the manager should at least be present at all times. I am so disappointed! :mad::mad:

First let me offer my sincerest apologies for not responding in a timely manner and for the poor service you received at our Zippy’s Dillingham restaurant. I’ve already spoken with Wayne, the store manager for that location, regarding your comments and concerns. He has already added more staff to the schedule to help ensure that the servers are able to service their customers in a timely manner. Having said this I would hope that you and your friends would give Zippy’s Dillingham another chance.

I'm sad to say I went back tonight for dinner at the dillingham zippys and was disappointed that we got the same service we did a year ago and to top it off the manager seated us tonight and it took about the same time to take our order is this the type of service zippys is becoming to be known for!!!!!

We went to the Pearl City Zippy's and after being seated we waited for 20 minutes before we had any service. After ordering our food, the waitress said something unbelieveable, "we don't have rice at this time" LOL! Imagine that, a restaurant in Hawaii that forgot or ran out of rice. But the funny thing is the sushi bar has it's own rice maker. We saw our sushi order sitting on the shelf for another 15 minutes. :o

But the funny thing is the sushi bar has it's own rice maker. We saw our sushi order sitting on the shelf for another 15 minutes. :o
I am sorry to hear about your experience in terms of your wait time, and on behalf of Zippy's Pearl City, I hope that when you have returned to our Pearl City location that the service has improved. If there is something that needs to be addressed, please make sure to ask for a manager at the location so that it can be immediately resolved at that time.

I've had enough of Zippy's and their bad service. It took us 25 minutes to get 2 mushroom burgers, fries and a saimin. People who came in after us were getting their orders before ours. I finally had to go to the counter and ask why my order was taking so long. They give me 1 order that was sitting on the counter and said they were waiting for the other. Wouldn't common sense tell you "Hey, these people ordered two burgers. WE SHOULD COOK THEM AT THE SAME TIME!" I finally get my order we drive home about 3 minutes away. Saimin is cold, mushrooms aren't cooked, hamburger buns were swimming in oil. Gross.
This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks Ive gotten this service. Why would you let food sit out on the counter to become cold because they're waiting on just 1 more item?! Overpriced food & incompetent workers.
