On Mon May 31, I went to the Zippy's website before dinner to check out what the daily & monthly specials were. The website had the Summer Special - Zip pac posted.
I placed a telephone take out order at the Mililani location. One of the items I ordered was a mini spaghetti. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was very diappointed since there was a poster in the window with the specials of the month which included the regular spaghetti plate for $4.89. (The mini spaghetti costs $4.85 so the regular was only $.04 more). I didn't want to change my order at that time since it was already made when I arrived.
My gripe is that the gentleman who answered the phone to take the order should have been aware of what the monthly specials were and offer the special to the customer over the phone at the time the order is placed. Also, on 5/31 the May specials were no longer posted on the website since the Summer special was posted - the specials should be posted on the website for the entire month.
