Zippy's in Las Vegas?

I have been living in Las Vegas for about 12 years and I've been waiting to see if a Zippy's would open up in Las Vegas. Why haven't anyone thought about doing this? I bet it would turn out great!!!!

I don't know about Vegas, but my family is so happy that they finally opened one here on Maui!! When we moved here 5 years ago, we had to adjust to living without a Zippy's nearby. Now we have one right up the street.

Re: Zippy's in Las Vegas?

Dear ncpano:

Our expansion plans do not currently include Las Vegas. We are focused on further expansion in the State of Hawaii, including Hilo, Kauai and additional locations on Oahu.

Expansion to the West Coast (including Las Vegas) may be considered in the future.

If you are missing the Zippy's chili, you will find our chili being served at the California Hotel and Casino. Our retail products (chili, curries, soups) are also available at certain Long Drugs location in Las Vegas.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Thank you,

When are you going to bring a Zippy's to Hilo? Also, where do you plan to put it? Mahalo!

Your inquiry was actually addressed by our president above. A Hilo location (as well as other possible outer-island locations) are currently in it's planning stages.

I will be very surprised if Zippy's ever make it to one of the Las Vegas strip hotels.

since the food is made here on Oahu, they'd either have to ship/train it or fly the food there, which would be very expensive. plus competition from other similar restaurants. mainland locations would only cater to "locals" there, lol

Please bring it to Kona instead of Hilo. Hilo already has Ken's Pancake House, a big 24hr local restaurant. Kona has what, Denny's? Hardly local with their maybe 4 local choices on the menu.
