Beef Stroganoff back at least until January 2012!

One of the most tastiest and filling items on the menu and you're removing it from the specials. Why?

You're making it awfully hard to keep coming back to Zippys.

Thank you for your feedback. We receive a lot of requests for new items as well as requests for certain weekend specials to be a part of our daily rotating specials menu. As a result, we have to look at our existing specials to see if there are dishes that sales wise are underperforming, and if so, take them out in order to introduce new items or popular specials. Unfortunately at this time, beef stroganoff was one of those underperforming dishes.

If there is enough customer demand to bring it back, we will consider it, as we have brought other items back into the rotation when they have been taken off before, thanks to customer feedback.

I agree. It was amazing to find thatyour recipe was so good. It wasn't absolutely outrageous Stroganoff, but it was really good, and totally amzaing for a fast food restaurant. I tried it at a number of stores, and it was consistent. At first in Kapolei, the noodles were gummy. But someone discovered they had be washed after boiling, and then the dish was fine. I studied your posted menu, and we seldom missed eating at Zippy's when it was available.

It might be slow catching on in Hawaii. I'd suggest bringing it back as a discounted feature item to get people to try it.

It was my favorite item at Zippy's. I hope you bring it back.

I miss the Beef Stroganoff. I used to check the menu too to see which days it would be available. It's never there anymore

Did they change the recipe for the Stroganoff? It has spaghetti noodles now instead of the flat thicker noodles.

Unofortunately this change is for the worse. The heartiness and thickness of the old pasta was important to making the dish good, and is how Stroganoff should be served.

This new recipe is a downgrade, and the price has been raised. Not sure I'll be ordering more of this new Spaghetti Stroganoff.

The decision to change the noodles for the Beef Stroganoff was made as part of our goals to streamline our operations. The noodles used for the Beef Stroganoff dish was only used for that one dish, and so was replaced with our spaghetti noodles that we have readily available. There have been no changes to our Beef Stroganoff sauce.
