Korean Chicken Plate

I have wanted to comment on this item for a while....but held off. It is one of our family's favorite items. It is really delicious! However this item changes in quantity depending on which location you order it from. Last night we ordered 3 of these from the McCully location. For $8.45 you are very stingy on the chicken. There have been times when a lot of the chicken portion was made up of pieces of fried skin with no meat at all! For this price you should at least have portions equal to 3 thighs. If not....lower the price. I thought I was the only one who felt this way, but my kids also feel that way. At another time I ordered this from the Kaimuki location, and the portion was very generous......so there is no consistency. Also, sometimes the chicken is drowning is sauce, and other times it is so dry with no sauce at all....so I have taken to ordering the sauce separately each time.

We love this item, but would like to get our money's worth when we order it please.

Good afternoon hapasac -

On behalf of the manager of Zippy's McCully, we thank you for your feedback. There will be a followup with the staff regarding serving the proper portion of Korean chicken on a consistent and regular basis. To ensure that, they will checking to see that they follow the proper cooking and serving procedures, which also includes the preparation of the cuts of the meat, so that your portion will not be that of all skin.
