Nooo! MSG in some of my favorite Zippy's foods!
Sign...I was disappointed to read on the Zippy's website that MSG is found in:
Chili Chili Beanless Baked OnoFried Chicken Fried Rice Kim Chee Korean Chicken Plate and Wrap Macaroni Salad Meat Sauce Potato Salad Saimin (All Saimin Items) Fried Noodles Teriyaki Sauce Won Ton Min Zip Min Baked Macaroni Beef Tomato Chicken Stir Fry Chopped Steak Chicken Cutlet Country Chicken Garlic Shrimp Fried Rice Kim Chee Fried Rice Kim Chee Sparerib Soup Lup Cheong Chicken Pork Tofu Shrimp Stir Fry Shoyu Chicken Turkey Jook Tofu Vegetable Stir Fry Teri Beef Teriyaki Steak Won Ton Ranch dressing Oil/Vineger dressing Tartar Sauce Black Bean Sauce Korean Dipping Sauce Aburage Eggplant with Pork Hiyashi Sauce Miso Soup Pork Squash Tempura Dipping Sauce Well, at least lamb curry is not listed, nor is somen salad. And I do thank Zippy's for posting this information, although I will definitely have to think twice about patronizing Zippy's the next time I look for a place to go eat. Next stop? Maybe not Zippy's. My wife has already said she will no longer buy the frozen chili. And that also means we won't buy chili benefit tickets. Bummer! But please do keep me updated if you remove MSG from items, especially chili. |
