The Boca Burger ... it's been on the menu forever, and I can't see how having a frozen patty available is that much overhead. I would really like to see that back so that I will once again eat at Zippy's restaurants.

I'd be so happy to see Kim Chee Fried Rice back on the rotation for your daily menu specials. It's truly one of my favorite specials that you offer on the menu (and not to mention, a great deal too!)

Bring back the Boca Burger

I went to Zippy's Kailua yesterday and ordered a Boca Burger without reading the menu, the waitress came back and asked if I meant Tofu Burger. I most certainly did not want a Tofu Burger as they fall apart and are not nearly as good tasting as Boca Burgers. I was EXTREMELY surprised to find this item had been deleted... so I had an omelette instead. Please restore the Boca Burger.

Dear hawaiimuskrat,

Thank you for your feedback. The Boca Burger was discontinued at our locations due to poor sales. We can reconsider it if there is enough feedback from our customers to bring it back.

As for our Vegi-Tofu Burger, I hope you will give it a try. I personally prefer the Vegi-Tofu Burger over the Boca Burger, because it has a juiciness and texture to it that I do enjoy.

Thank you for your time,

Jay

Good afternoon Whimzee,

I am happy to inform you that as of December 14th, we are offering a whole wheat option for our burgers. Please ask your server for details.

As for whole wheat pasta, we have tested it a year ago, and unfortunately there wasn't enough of a demand at this time to carry it regularly at our locations. As with all items no longer on our menu, if there is a demand from our customers to bring it back, we can bring it back for consideration.

Thank you for your time,

Jay

Good morning, beano -

Zippy's restaurants offers in both of its fast food and dine-in restaurants our own oxtail soup. I encourage you to try it!

Also, if you are dining in our restaurant locations, from January 4 - February 7, 2010, we are currently offering an oxtail style turkey neck soup for a special price. If you like oxtail soup, you'll enjoy our turkey neck soup!

Thank you for your time,

Jay

Yes, bring back the garlic miso chicken but more importantly, have healthy foods for take out like the spaghetti sauce. I like to just buy that and make my own noodles at home, but I would like to buy healthy foods, not plate lunches, where I can serve it to my family - just home and cook rice and eat. There are so many families now who don't cook so you should offer more healthy alternatives.

Good afternoon, Kimi -

Zippy's spaghetti meat sauce is available for take out in a 2 lb. Zip Meal portion, which serves up to four. You can pick it up from Zippy's fast food counter.

Thank you for your time,

Jay
