Good morning, integlspwr,

Just to clarify, are you talking about Zippy's omelettes, or are you talking about the eggs done the way you choose, like scrambled eggs?

Jay

Good afternoon integlspwr,

When it comes to our eggs, there are two things that may give our eggs that "taste" you've been clamoring for...
1) We cook our eggs in a butter flavored oil.
2) We use fresh, locally grown eggs, which may differ in flavor from mainland eggs depending on the feed used.

Thank you for the good feedback about our eggs, and I hope this info helps!

integlspwr,

From what I underestand, you can get it from any restaurant supply store.

Integlspwr.

I unfortunately do not know a specific one, but if you search through the yellow pages for restaurant supplies, there might be one that carries it. I'm pretty sure too that there may be one in the grocery aisle as well. Hope this helps. Also, make sure you use fresh island eggs!

I am going to have to try that butter-flavored oil! We don't have store-bought eggs (we haven't bought eggs for over a year now) b/c we have 2 hens who lay eggs for us. =) So it should taste REALLY good!

I found a butter flavored margarine that makes it VERY VERY close to the zippys egg! =)
